About the artists
John Pratt. A professional photographer for many years, John has chosen to focus this exhibition on a celebration of people and place. From Havana to Henderson, he’s captured poignant moments, rock star performances, parades and more. Well worth a look.
Sandra Maclean has been drawing as long as she can remember and is currently exploring the theme of pure joy. Her work is in pencil and she delights in the slightly quirky. Sandra is also exhibiting some of her photography of misty mornings including right here in Hobsonville Point.
Jo Sumpter paints beautiful oils featuring landscapes of favourite places around NZ. She is offering prints of favourite works, including stunning beach and water scenes.
Chrissy Pitcher has been painting oils for several years and has some beautiful original works available for viewing and for sale, covering a variety of compositions.
Kate Finlay adores abstract acrylic painting. She discovered her passion in college and is starting out with some great pieces to share, created in her spare time when she’s not working full time with high needs children at a local school.
